Prospective Graduate Students

K-State CE offers both on-campus and distance graduate programs. The duration of study for a typical MS program is three to four semesters, while that for a typical Ph.D. is six to eight semesters. Most graduate students are supported on research assistantships provided by individual faculty members. Therefore, prospective students should directly contact faculty members in their area of interest to inquire about assistantship opportunities. A limited number of teaching assistantships are also available, but are assigned to students who have been on campus and passed the K-State SPEAK test.
