K-State hosts one of the largest all-university career fairs in the region every fall semester with several big and small companies looking for civil engineering interns or full-time employees. The first place they look for people is in the databases of the K-State Career Center. Its never too late to register with the career center and upload a current resume. Visit the career center website and find out about all kinds of resources available to you from resume critiques to interviewing advice, and mock interviews to learning about dining etiquette!


Naval Research Enterprise Internship Program (NREIP)

NREIP is a 10 week summer research opportunity for sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students under the guidance of a mentor at a participating Naval Laboratory. Stipends are $5,250 for sophomores, $7,880 for juniors and seniors, and $10,500 for graduate students. U.S. citizenship is required and permanent residents are accepted at certain labs.
